Our brains seem to prefer things that are ordered in a nice way rather than chaotic patterns, asymmetry, or flawed elements. Even if we’re not perfectionists, we just seem to enjoy the look of things that are broken. And don’t forget how annoying it can be if things aren’t in their place.
