People Are Doodling – Snakes With Arms
A clever person doodled some hands on a picture he found of a snake some time ago. It was such a satisfying result that he shared it on the internet. After that, the doodle war broke out.
3,000 species of snake have been identified by National Geographic, and they can be found all over the world except in Antarctica, Iceland, Ireland, Greenland, and New Zealand. Only about 200 species of venomous animals are able to kill or severely wound a human, or 7 percent.
Unlike venomous snakes, which consume their prey alive or constrict them to death, nearly all nonvenomous snakes consume their food whole – sometimes in astonishing amounts.
Researchers believe that ancestors of today’s slithery snakes once had arms and legs, but genetic mutation caused them to lose their limbs around 150 million years ago.
Despite snakes’ reputation and not being the cutest creatures, they turn out to need only some expressive hands and arms to look cute. Take a look at them by scrolling down!
