In Japan, there is a new trend where cat owners give their cats silly expressions by placing paper strips with cartoon or anime eyes in front of their faces. “Cat montage” (neko montaaju) is hilarious and it’s all about cats.
A Twitter user named Shiratamaaaa posted pictures of cats with cartoon eyes, describing it as “neko montage for cat owners.” The images had almost 4,000 retweets.
