2. Cloves.
3. Guava leaves.
4. Garlic.
5. Peppermint tea.
6. Hydrogen peroxide rinse.
A simple saltwater rinse is a common home remedy for a toothache. A saltwater rinse can be made by dissolving 1 teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and swish around in the mouth for about 30 seconds before spitting it out.
Cloves have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which can help fight tooth and gum infections. Chew a whole clove to release its oil and hold in place against the affected tooth for up to 30 minutes. Guava leaves have anti-inflammatory properties that can help heal wounds.
To use this, chew on fresh guava leaves.
Garlic is a common household ingredient that some people use to relieve toothache pain. Simply chewing a clove of garlic and allowing it to sit near the tooth may help relieve pain.
A peppermint tea bag may soothe your aching tooth and gums. A slightly warm, wet tea bag can also be used and held against the tooth for several minutes until the pain lessens. As an alternative to salt water, rinse with a solution of equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water. Rinse thoroughly and spit it out.
Don’t swallow hydrogen peroxide.
